Saltash

Saltash is located on the river Tamar in Cornwall. Linked to Devon and Plymouth by the Tamar road bridge and famous Royal Albert rail bridge, the town is easily accessible to Devon and Cornwall.

The Band

Based at the Saltash Social Club in the centre of Saltash, the band rehearses on Friday evenings, from 7.30pm.

The band is currently graded in the 3rd section and welcomes players of any standard to rehearse regularly, or just when visiting locally.

The band is fully self supporting, relying on concert revenue, donations and collections. All of the players are amateur musicians, with most living locally in Devon and Cornwall.

The band are committed to providing a safe welcoming environment to anyone wanting to play a brass instrument.
The training band provides an environment for people wanting to learn how to play a brass instrument.



 
The band regularly performs at a wide variety of events, from evening concerts, afternoon fetes and carnivals, to informal Christmas carols at pubs and stores. The band is heavily involved with the local community. Each year, the band will perform at Saltash events such as Remembrance Day, May Fair, the Regatta, frequently leading the parades through the town.
